Amazon Web Services in APJ delivers outcomes for some of the most innovative and exciting customers in the world. We are seeking a Field Enablement Lead to effectively deliver enablement programs that equip AWS teams to better serve customers and continue to grow the business. This role encompasses both designing enablement plans that accelerate field skills and tactically implementing programs individually or with cross‐functional partners.

The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of technology sales and marketing dynamics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to synthesize vast information so it is usable for a diverse sales audience. Ideally, they will have strong knowledge in adult learning principles or adult education and a true passion for finishing the day knowing they've helped others succeed.

This individual will work closely with the Worldwide Field Enablement Team, industry sales teams, and other cross‐functional leads, examining existing business practices and identifying new initiatives that yield time savings and increased sales effectiveness. Example projects include developing business enablement resources for specific sales verticals, supporting go‐to‐market motions, executing onboarding, driving ongoing learning efforts, and enabling account teams to accelerate sales pipelines.

Experience with AI technologies and implementing related enablement programs is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in modern sales methodologies and a demonstrated success in driving adoption of customer‐centric approaches that build strategic partnerships and deliver measurable business outcomes. They should excel at aligning technology solutions with customer missions while enhancing overall sales effectiveness.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to combine a passion for problem‐solving, coaching, and enthusiasm for technology to drive learning outcomes and establish positive customer relationships with new and tenured sales employees. You will also work closely with cross‐functional stakeholders — including Sales Leadership, Business Operations, Lead Development Representatives, Project Managers, and Worldwide Field Enablement — to discover and meet organizational objectives.

This individual must have 5+ years of a combination of relevant experience serving sales and business development organizations and project management experience, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional presentation skills are an advantage. Experience supporting sales, technical sales, or direct sales is highly preferred.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Leverage executive presence, business acumen, and enablement expertise to be a trusted advisor to AWS leaders, recommending enablement initiatives and delivering results.
* Create, execute, manage, and support role‐based sales and tech learning sessions for new and existing account teams.
* Plan, facilitate, scale, and support existing onboarding, everboarding, productivity, and process training to improve field effectiveness.
* Demonstrate strong planning, communication, and end‐to‐end ownership leading progress against targeted objectives.
* Develop and curate cross‐functional enablement resources for sales and tech teams while leveraging existing resources for program implementation.
* Perform detailed needs assessments in collaboration with various stakeholders; translate business needs into clear project requirements that inform scalable and repeatable initiatives.
* Implement metrics to measure impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility of programs and report on the effectiveness of enablement investments.
* Maintain scheduled deadlines, detailed training and initiative status reports, and introduce processes to optimize project management.
* Support and lead ad hoc special projects as needed for leadership.

Basic Qualifications

* Experience working with or having knowledge of cloud computing and existing cloud technologies.
* Experience communicating results to operations and business leaders.
* Experience working in a sales or sales support role.
* Experience focused on adult learning theory, including virtual training facilitation and dealing with remote teams, and delivering soft skills, technology skills and/or technical or other systems training, or experience in facilitating.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in sales operations or sales enablement.
