About the Role 

As the Fleet Growth Manager for Western Central region, you will identify new customer opportunities for Ford's commercial line up including Ford Super Duty and drive significant revenue growth. By building a strong corporate customer base and consistently exceeding sales targets, you will play a pivotal role in capturing market share and establishing a best-in-class service reputation for our newest fleet offering.

This position reports directly to the Key Accounts Manager and is a field-based roles located at our Regional Office in Perth (Stirling Highway, Nedlands, WA). Interstate travel will be an essential requirement for this role.

Responsibilities
* Strategic Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute a targeted plan to identify and secure new corporate accounts, building deep relationships with key decision-makers in procurement and operations.
* Sales Execution & Growth: Drive lead generation to exceed vehicle sales targets, ensuring a seamless transition to customer delivery.
* Fleet Needs Analysis: Conduct technical assessments of customer requirements, including upfit specifications, supply chain considerations, and total cost of ownership drivers.
* Conquest Strategy: Identify and pursue opportunities within competitor fleets, leveraging Ford's unique product advantages and managing complex tender submissions.
* Lead & Prospect Management: Take full ownership of the sales funnel—from initial prospecting and data tracking to nurturing leads through to final sale. Include end-to-end lead generation at industry expos, events, and roadshows to amplify brand exposure and secure high-quality leads.
* Regional Collaboration: Partner with regional sales and marketing teams to implement tailored strategies that account for local market dynamics.
* Operational Reporting: Maintain rigorous data management and provide weekly/monthly performance updates to the leadership team regarding engagements, conquests, and pre-orders.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or a field-based representative role.
* Tertiary qualified with a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Deep understanding of vehicle sales and service processes across both corporate and dealership levels.
* Sound knowledge of automotive products and associated services, with a technical or engineering background highly regarded.
* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
* A motivated self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and can manage multiple complex projects under demanding deadlines
