We are seeking a Business Continuity Analyst to join our Security & Control team in Sydney. We are looking for a motivated & adaptable individual with around 1 year of experience in Business Continuity who is eager to learn & contribute.

Reporting to the Business Continuity Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development & maintenance of robust business continuity plans that safeguard our enterprise, business units, & branches across Australia & New Zealand. Your ability to build strong relationships will be essential as you collaborate with diverse teams across the bank.


Top Role Accountabilities:

* Assist in the implementation of the Business Continuity Management Policy & standards
* Contribute to the completion of Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) & Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)
* Support Vendor Management by conducting business continuity assessment of third-party vendors
* Maintain key indicators for critical systems & overall Business Continuity capability
* Monitor the business continuity risk in accordance with the Risk Control Framework
* Support the Business Continuity team in planning & executing exercises at Business Unit & Enterprise level


To be successful you will have:

* Knowledge of Business Continuity Management & Disaster Recovery
* Exposure to operations, production or technology environment within the financial services industry
* A Certificate of BCI or equivalent relevant industry qualification highly regarded
* An ability to develop, build & maintain relationships with internal clients & external suppliers
* An ability to learn & adapt in a fast-changing environment
* Exposure to a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system highly regarded
