The Opportunity: We are seeking experienced Senior Emergency Medical Officers (PGY5) to provide high-quality care and leadership within regional EDs in the Riverland and Murraylands. Take charge of the Emergency Department during rostered shifts Night Senior shifts require ability to lead resuscitations and perform intubations Manage the full spectrum of ED presentations - trauma, paediatrics, medical and psychiatric emergencies Provide supervision and support to junior medical staff and nurses Work collaboratively with retrieval services, anaesthetics, and local specialists Clinical Environment - What You'll Gain: Broad exposure to rural and regional emergency presentations Opportunities to consolidate leadership, resus and procedural skills Collaborative, multidisciplinary teams with strong local support Valuable experience in high-responsibility roles within smaller EDs A strong addition to portfolios for those pursuing FACEM or rural emergency pathways Eligibility: AHPRA General Registration or above Significant Emergency Department experience Ability to lead resus and perform advanced airway management Australian working rights Ability to complete hospital credentialing Location - Riverland & Murraylands, SA: Located just 2.5 hours from Adelaide and 1.5 hours from Mildura, this region offers more sunshine than the Gold Coast and a lifestyle rich in community spirit.
