Job Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Services Team Lead to join our team in Canberra, Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the station coordinator in liaison with ground handling agents and Qatar Airways teams.
* Supervise airport teams to ensure on-time flight closure and overall performance.
* Plan efficient duty allocations of manpower during duty periods for Customer Service Agents.
* Support Airport Services Duty Officer in case of flight disruptions and passenger-related issues.
* Perform aircraft turnaround checks to ensure safe operation of QR ground ramp product.
* Generate reports and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Be the primary contact for agents requiring assistance.
Requirements:
* Relevant college or university qualification.
* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in airline or ground handling operations at supervisory level.
* Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.
* Knowledge of Weight and Balance, Ramp handling, and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
* Able to perform duties under pressure while maintaining high customer service standards.
* Good understanding of conditions of carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety procedures.
* Experience in areas such as Passenger Services, Baggage Services, Ground Operations, and Ramp handling.
* High level of computer literacy.
* Excellent customer focus and service delivery.
