Position summary
Working closely with our People and Culture and Finance teams you will be responsible for the administration and processing of all payroll requirements, processing pay, and interpretation of various industrial instruments. Operating within a team environment and reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will see you processing complex end to end payroll and helping to establish the payroll function in a newly merged entity.
This position will be contracted on a fixed term Full-time or Part-time basis, 38 hours per week and for Part-time depending on the availability of the successful candidate, with flexible working arrangements being offered.
Duties
1. Maintain payroll data and database and process pay in the TriOnline Rostering/Payroll system.
2. High volume end to end payroll processing including fortnightly payroll processing for approximately 200 employees per week, in partnership with another payroll officer.
3. Process and provide advice to stakeholders, on leave calculations including, annual, personal, long service and parental leave.
4. Work with operational stakeholders in understanding complex rostering and timesheet arrangements against various EBA’s and Awards to ensure compliance and accurate
