Position Details
This is a Permanent Part Time appointment at 38 hours per fortnight.
This position is responsible for the effective day-to-day supply and imprest functions for the Wheatbelt Region, including warehousing, distribution and accounting for general stores.
The occupant will be expected to comply with and demonstrate a positive commitment to the WACHS values and the highest achievement in demonstrating positive commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Occupational Safety & Health, Public Sector Standards, Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, Quality Improvement, Performance Management, Customer Focus, Disability Services Act, and Confidentiality throughout the course of their duties.
Eligibility to Apply
Applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed-term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a visa that allows indefinite residence in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Screening & Conditions
WA Health requires applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity check as part of the appointment process.
Depending on the role, a working-with-children check and a pre-employment health assessment may also be required.
Referees may be asked to comment on your integrity and past ethical behaviour.
Adverse information may not disqualify but will be considered.
A satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is required; failure to pass the PEHA will result in offer withdrawal.
The recruitment process may also be used to fill similar vacancies for up to twelve (12) months from the endorsed decision.
