Change and Communications Analyst (Darwin)
We are looking for an experienced Change and Communications Analyst to work on one of our key government client sites in Darwin.
This is an initial 12-month contract with a high chance for extension for the right candidate, located in the Darwin City.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Change and Communication Analyst will work in a coordinated approach to deliver a number of activities to support the eRostering project. Activities include:
* Change Impact Analysis – work with program and business stakeholders to clearly identify and document what has changed between current and future state processes.
* Change workshops & briefings – develop presentation material and briefings, and facilitate engagement sessions with both program and business stakeholders.
* Communications – develop and deliver change communications, including updates, presentations, key messages, newsletters, and briefing packs.
* Change activities – support the Manager with communication, engagement and training interventions that enable a successful change journey for stakeholders.
* Readiness assessments – identify and deliver activities to enable optimal adoption of changes to current practices, workflows and/or processes.
* Stakeholder partnership – establish and maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
* Support post‐implementation and review process.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Over 2 years' experience in a Change and Communication Analyst or similar role.
* Experience delivering complex business change within large scale transformational programs.
* Minimum 2 years' hands‐on communication experience across fast‐paced and geographically dispersed projects, with strong design skills using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, intranet tools, Adobe Pro/Illustrator, and other IT tools.
* Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and building collaborative relationships to support effective change adoption.
* Proven ability to develop high‐quality communication materials tailored for diverse audiences and channels.
* Ability to apply change management principles, tools, and techniques to support program outcomes.
* Experience supporting business readiness activities and executing communication strategies.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify delivery risks and implement suitable mitigation strategies; formal change management qualifications are desirable.
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or Communications) and/or professional certification in a recognised Change Management methodology (e.g., Prosci, Association of Change Management Professionals, or Change Management Institute) or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
To be a successful candidate you must have Australian Citizenship, or a Visa with full, unrestricted working rights in Australia. Candidates will also need to be willing to undergo security clearance checks as part of the Application process.
