Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team at Cinnamon Club, Norwood, South Australia. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing a variety of traditional and contemporary Indian dishes, with a focus on authentic flavors and presentation.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, and regional specialties.
* Ensure all meals are prepared to a high standard of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels of spices, ingredients, and other cooking supplies.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain kitchen sanitation standards.
* Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Cook specializing in Indian cuisine (minimum of 2 years of experience preferred).
* Ability to prepare a variety of traditional Indian dishes with an emphasis on flavor and authenticity.
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
