* This is not a support role. You'll partner closely with the Director as a trusted second-in-charge—owning execution, making decisions in their absence, and ensuring strategy translates into consistent operational performance.
About the Role
* Act as the day-to-day operational lead, coaching sales and warehouse teams and stepping in as on-site decision-maker when the Director is unavailable.
* Support sales and client engagement as needed, including leading showroom walkthroughs, guiding product selections, and stepping into complex or high-value projects.
* Oversee warehouse flow and presentation, remaining hands-on with slab movement, container unloading, and display standards when required.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, and builders through ongoing project, stock, and specification conversations.
* Monitor sales performance and pricing, supporting quoting decisions and stepping in to protect margin and commercial outcomes on complex jobs.
* Own systems, data integrity, and core operational processes across CRM, stock, and finance platforms.
* Coordinate external partners and logistics, including accounting, IT, marketing, e-commerce operations, freight tracking, and post-purchase documentation.
