We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist for a
4-month contract with potential extensions
,
based in Brisbane
. You will develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures within a highly regulated environment. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will embed governance principles across data solutions, ensuring data quality, integrity, and lineage.
The role also involves onboarding and supporting Data Stewards and Data Custodians.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience developing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
* Strong understanding of data quality, data lineage, and data integrity
* Experience onboarding and training Data Stewards and Data Custodians
* Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience in insurance or other highly regulated environments
* Familiarity with medallion architecture and cloud platforms such as Azure Databricks (desirable)
