Corporate Accountant/Management Accountant
The Corporate Accountant/Management Accountant plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records and reporting.
Responsible for managing core accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and supporting compliance and month-end close processes, this position is essential for providing reliable financial information to support business decisions.
The skills or experience required for the position:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent (completed or in progress) is required
Thorough understanding and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Extensive experience in preparing financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management reports.
Hands-on experience with general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable/payable, fixed asset register management, and bank reconciliations.
Strong understanding of corporate operations able to advise senior management on trends
Experience in handling quarterly rolling forecasts, coordinating various stakeholders to land on common deadline
High level of proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis (ie Pivot tables, sumif, vlookups etc)
Experience in ERP software like XERO or Quickbooks online
Experience in working for a fast paced, matrix organization with agile reporting requirement
Ability to manage large quantities of data sets, linking them together to draw out insights to business operation
Experience in managing software business preferred
Experience in Consolidation and intercompany transactions
Prior experience with external audit preferred
