Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Governance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in financial governance, reporting, and systems management.
Main Responsibilities
* Liaise between revenue and collection teams for timely and accurate recording of revenue and collection in financial systems.
* Maintain and document financial structures and processes across RMS and Oracle with regular and month-end closing processes.
* Support finance team members and stakeholders to achieve outcomes and provide ad-hoc reports and queries management.
* Prepare month-end accrual journals, reconciliations, and assist with audit requirements arrangements and external reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience in financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting in a complex corporate environment (utilities preferred).
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and instructions.
* Experience documenting and improving processes and procedures.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Experience preparing accrual journals, reconciliations, and contributing to annual reporting and audits.

Proficient in advanced Excel spreadsheets and knowledgeable of compliance and reporting in a commercial environment.
