About the role
As a Radiographer you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a range of modalities, including complex radiographic procedures. Working with minimal supervision, you will use your advanced technical skills and professional judgment to ensure accurate and efficient imaging that supports the diagnosis and care of patients across diverse clinical specialties.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will contribute to the development of others by providing professional direction to radiographers, newly graduated practitioners, and students undertaking clinical placements. You'll also support research and departmental quality assurance programs, helping to drive excellence and innovation within the radiology team.
About You
You are an experienced and dedicated Radiographer with strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services. You demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a patient-centred approach, working effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. With a sound understanding of clinical governance and safety standards, you take pride in maintaining excellence across all aspects of radiographic practice.
* Qualifications and Registration: Hold an appropriate Degree in Medical Radiation and registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia, with (or eligible for) a licence to operate diagnostic X-ray apparatus under the Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021.
* Technical and Clinical Skills: Skilled in performing a wide range of complex radiographic procedures, assessing patient needs, and applying sound judgement to ensure quality imaging outcomes.
* Professional and Interpersonal Abilities: Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, mentor students, and maintain positive relationships within and outside the department.
* Safety, Quality and Governance Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of radiation safety, quality improvement programs, regulatory compliance, and the ethical and cultural responsibilities of radiographic practice.
