Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join our team in (Broome, WA). If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
* Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
* Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;
* Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
The essential requirements:
* 2+ years experience on PC12;
* Trade Certificate IV (Avionics);
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;
* Strong team player;
* Ability to follow supervisory direction;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
* Passion for safe work practices;
* Valid work visa;
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);
* Current Australian Driver's licence.
Shifts will be Monday to Friday day shift .
Additional Qualifications:
