EDON Place Domestic and Family Violence Service is a not-for-profit organisation. The service is the lead provider for domestic and family violence in Bundaberg and the North Burnett Region. EDON Place aims to assist women and their children to maintain a life free of violence while addressing emotional and practical needs and issues arising from the violence. The service offers a holistic approach to people affected by domestic and family violence with the necessary support and resources to support to break the cycle of domestic and family violence.
Position:
EDON Place are seeking a Practice Lead role to provide advanced practice leadership across all EDON Place programs, working alongside staff to strengthen capability, embed high‑quality, trauma‑informed and culturally responsive approaches, and drive continuous improvement. This position focuses on enhancing practice through coaching, mentoring, and upskilling staff, as well as facilitating group supervision, reflective practice, and targeted training and workshops. Operating collaboratively with practitioners and leaders, the Practice Lead supports consistent service delivery, promotes integrated responses, and ensures practice aligns with organisational values and evidence‑based frameworks. This role is pivotal in fostering professional growth, strengthening practice confidence, and ensuring EDON Place services remain responsive, accountable, and effective in promoting the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of clients.
Minimum Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (eg. Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or similar).
* Minimum of two (2) years' experience or demonstrated understanding of working with vulnerable families, particularly those experiencing DFV.
* Desirable: Post Graduate Qualification or equivalent experience in field of expertise.
