About The Role

Accounting is more than numbers – you'll collaborate with colleagues across the business to support decision-making and drive operational success.

We're looking for someone with 1–2 years of experience who has recently started or is about to commence CA or CPA studies.
Responsibilities
Complete month-end activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and processing journal entries.
Prepare P&L and balance sheet variance analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management.
Prepare statutory financial statements, reports and accounting workpapers.
Proactively identify and resolve financial risks, including transactional, reporting and account reconciliation issues, and implement improvements to internal processes and workpapers.
Implement and undertake accounting functions and projects as required.
Support internal and external audit requests.
Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and continually improve our processes.
Additional exposure:
A firm-wide system implementation.
Internal process reviews.
Driving improvements and automation initiatives.
Skills / Attributes Required
Strong technical accounting skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
Problem-solving, critical thinking about processes, and identifying efficiencies.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and consistently meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience Required
1–2 years of relevant experience in professional services.
Bachelor of Business / Accounting (or other relevant tertiary qualifications).
Undergoing CA/CPA.
Experience with Workday (preferred but not essential).
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
