Fire Response Specialist
The role involves participating in emergency response teams, engaging in educational activities to promote community safety and preparedness, and developing competencies through regular drills and training courses.
Main Responsibilities:
* Responding to fire and other emergency incidents as part of a team
* Promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through educational initiatives
* Maintaining attendance standards for emergency responses and training sessions
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian Permanent Resident Status
* Manual C Class driver's license
* Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies
* Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station
You will be required to commit to attending 50% of incident and emergency calls as a day worker, or 30% as a shift worker, and participate in ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs.
