Responsibilities
- Deliver quality education and care programs in accordance with the National Quality Framework and Council policies and procedures.
- Interact positively with children to facilitate learning experiences.
- Supervise children to ensure health, safety and wellbeing.
- Contribute to customised educational programs to meet EYLF outcomes and the individual needs and interests of children.
- Complete relevant documentation and administration associated with the position.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working with Children Check
- Previous experience in a long day care centre caring for children aged six weeks to five years
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Framework and knowledge of early childhood practices
- Ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, parents and other stakeholders
- Flexibility with working hours within core centre operating times due to staffing ratios
