Join Our Team – Casual Production Workers
Pay: $31.19 p/hr
Geelong Leather, a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality leather products, is seeking enthusiastic Casual Production Workers to join our team in Culcairn. This is an excellent prospect to build a stable career with a dynamic, growing company in the leather manufacturing industry.
We are looking for reliable individuals who can:
- Work Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday overtime
- Be flexible with start/finish times between 6:00am and 5:00pm (varies by department)
- Perform some physically demanding, repetitive manual tasks, including sorting, trimming, packing, and lifting up to 25kg
- Handle cattle hides and wetblue leather in a fast-paced environment
- Be punctual, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Show a willingness to learn new skills such as:
- Machine operation
- Leather grading
- Understanding leather quality standards
Follow strict safety and quality procedures at all times
Hold the legal right to work and currently reside in Australia (short-term visa holders welcome)
Successfully pass Drug & Alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical
Be Q-Fever vaccinated or willing to obtain vaccination
