Oncology Pharmacy Technician Casual – Tasman Health Care Pharmacy Southport, QLD
About the role:
We are seeking a casual oncology technician to support our pharmacy team. The position will be based at Tasman Health Care Pharmacy in Southport, Gold Coast. The position offers regular Friday shifts plus extra days as required.

Key responsibilities
* Aseptic compounding of oncology medications
* Dispense medication to patients
* Manage pharmacy stock
* Process the PBS claim
* Liaise with other clinic staff
* Manage patient account and related enquiries
Skills and experience:
* Experience with FRED hospital and FRED office dispensing software desirable but not essential
* Experience in aseptic compounding desirable but not essential
* Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
* Attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Ability to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
