What we expect
* Demonstrate a range of cooking techniques, monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Stock management and control
* Kitchen presentation and asset management
* Flexible with your availability to work over a 5‑day roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Attention to detail while presenting a high standard of attractive and tasty dishes for our patrons
* Strong communication skills with a good attitude towards front and back of house staff
* Effective time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
* Compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations including hygiene policies
Tasks may include
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, kitchen and waiting staff
* Preparing and cooking food
* Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
