**What's the role?**
- Reporting to the managing editor.
- Be responsible for writing and curating features and news for online, print and social channels
- Conducting and editing interviews to be published as podcasts, on our education sites covering the K-12 and higher education sectors.
- The role is based in Surry Hills, close to central station

**Who you are**
- Recent journalism/communications graduate
- Understanding of how to develop and edit audio and video content, will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Common Core standards and best practices for creating standards-aligned content
- Ability to take on the voice of the brand, as well as to follow and contribute to a style guide
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple planned and unplanned projects with flexibility and resourcefulness
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with individuals and cross-disciplinary teams, both internal and external to Understood
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork are key
