About the Role
You’ll be trained as a Smoke Alarm Technician, responsible for:
* Testing and maintaining smoke alarms in residential properties
* Completing compliance reports accurately
* Liaising with property managers and homeowners
* Ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory standards
This is a field-based role, giving you variety and independence in your day.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently.
Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded, particularly in:
* Property services
* Maintenance or trade-based roles
* Field service / technician roles
You will also bring:
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* A reliable, self-motivated attitude
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously
* Problem-solving skills
* Physical fitness for a hands-on role
Essential Requirements
* Current QLD Driver’s Licence (clean record, held 3+ years)
* Ability to pass a police check
* Willingness to travel across assigned regions
