Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait. About your role: * Work collaboratively with manager/s and educator to plan, implement and evaluate clinical learning opportunities at a workplace level to support clinicians to provide evidence-based practice. * Major portfolios for this position include orientation of new nurses and midwives, learning development of nursing and midwives within the service area, review and management of mandatory and requisite education requirements and local in service program. * Collaborates with the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Nurse Educators to lead quality and research activities; for example, conducting and evaluating audits to devise learning plans to address outcomes.
