This is a permanent full‐time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight.
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Palliative Care team at Hedland Health Campus in the Pilbara.
To be successful, you will have:
* Advanced nursing and competence in the provision of patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of delivery of care within the palliative care practice setting.
* Advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making within the palliative care setting.
* Well‐developed team leadership and membership skills, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrates incorporation of quality and risk management within practice.
* Demonstrated understanding of the Medicines and Poisons ACT 2014, Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016, and the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2010.
Position Profile
To deliver comprehensive, evidence‐based nursing care for palliative patients in the hospital and community environments within the scope of practice of the Registered Clinical Nurse. This is a regional position which may require regional travel and a provision of on‐call services for patients across the region.
