About the role
The Finance team oversees the income and expenditure in addition to ensuring effective business running with minimum disruptions. Besides the traditional roles of handling the payroll, income and expenses, Finance team also responsible for economic analysis to improve key business strategies.
The Graduate Accountant, Payroll position is responsible for the timely and efficient end to end payroll service consistent with compliance requirements and providing reporting related to payroll costs and other operational criteria to the Finance team to assist in analysis to improve key business strategies.
Specifically, the position is responsible for:
* Ensuring monthly and fortnightly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
* Updating any processes and employee information in employee self-service system (ESS).
* Responding in a timely and confidential manner to payroll and ESS queries.
* Administering, processing and submitting regular and ad hoc payroll reports for internal and external users as required.
* Completing monthly reconciliations of payroll related Balance Sheet and General Ledger accounts.
Maintaining confidential electronic files.
To be considered for this position, applicants require:
* Bachelor Degree in Business or Management.
* Experience in payroll administration and management would be an advantage.
* Demonstrated knowledge of financial practices, procedures, operations and legislation.
* Demonstrated skills in investigating issues with attention to detail and finding solutions.
