About the Role
Hastings Deering is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager Asset Management Group to join our leadership team. This is a permanent full-time opportunity that can be based in Brisbane, Mackay or Rockhampton.
This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring Hastings Deering is recognised as the industry leader in safety performance across our operational sites while also driving the financial and operational success of all Maintenance & Repair Contracts (MARC) and Customer Support Agreements (CSA) within our dealership territories.
Reporting to a General Manager your key responsibilities will include :
* Lead and manage all Customer Support Agreements ensuring alignment with internal functions and contract deliverables
* Drive equipment performance and reliability by leveraging Caterpillar technology support programs and Hastings Deering processes
* Champion safety by overseeing the 5 Star Safety Process and ensuring compliance with HDAL and mine site systems
* Build strong customer relationships and position Hastings Deering as the leader in Equipment Management
* Oversee personnel resourcing governance processes and financial performance to deliver best-practice outcomes
* Provide accurate reporting and embed Continuous Improvement initiatives across operational teams
* Develop and deliver contract group strategy aligned with Hastings Deerings long-term vision
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring :
* At least 10 years management experience within mining mining services or heavy earthmoving industry
* Tertiary qualifications in Business Commerce Engineering or equivalent experience
* A proven record of achievement in operations including managing significant P&L responsibilities across multiple regions
* Strong capability in establishing and maintaining long‑term mutually beneficial customer relationships
* Broad experience across operations sales and commercial functions
* A comprehensive understanding of the mining mining services or heavy earthmoving industries
