About the role

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for someone with Accounts Receivable or Credit Control experience to join our professional team. Working closely with a friendly and supportive team, the ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills and ability to work in a fast‐paced environment. As an AR officer, you will be looking after the end‐to‐end collection process, as well as assisting in approving credit applications.

Your main responsibilities will include

* To proactively collect payment and manage debtors in accordance with company guidelines
* To accurately reconcile debtor ledgers with customers on a regular basis and address any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Coordinate with internal teams to reconcile customer claims and manage related issues and enquiries.
* To interact with various departments across the company and address any accounts related issue and queries from customers.
* To deliver excellent customer service and maintain a balanced attitude while performing AR duties.
* To ensure customer profile is kept up to date with information maintained accurately and promptly.
* To handle incoming calls and emails within established guidelines.
* To assist in any ad hoc administrative tasks requested by the credit manager or credit team leader.

You will need to have

* A degree within the relevant field (preferred but not essential)
* Min 2 years' experience dealing with consistent reconciliation, analysing the data and ensuring payment plans are met is a must
* Office Admin/Customer service/Collection experience with a reputable organisation will be highly regarded
* Strong attention to details and willingness to learn
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
* Great communication, problem solving skills; and
* Be a team player who enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment and is able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
