About the Role: We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and respond effectively to complex field activities, ensuring Health and Safety controls are in place and effectively managed. The Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for exercising independent professional judgement, high-level influencing, and if required, intervention on the effectiveness of HSE controls and management by contractors. This includes managing relationships across broad stakeholder groups and providing high-quality Health and Safety advice. Requirements: To be successful in this role, candidates must have extensive experience in a similar environmental position supporting the construction of general and/or high voltage work packages. They must also possess previous experience with field environmental monitoring techniques, including vegetation and cultural heritage surveys, soil sampling and groundwater testing and data analysis. Additionally, they should have expert knowledge of contemporary environmental practices and key issues as relevant to construction, as well as sound analytical, auditing and investigation skills.
