Strictly Building specialises in creating prestigious high-end townhouses, duplexes and residential developments that redefine modern living. With our commitment to quality and innovation, we're transforming architectural visions into stunning realities with projects valued between $4-15m.
We understand our most important asset is our people, so we offer competitive remuneration packages and reward our team with attractive incentive programs. Underpinning all that we do are our core values:
 * Can Do - We think outside the box and leverage the power of teamwork to deliver
 * Balanced - We set our clients up for success, producing win-win outcomes
 * Real - We respect each other and our customers by keeping it honest
About the Role
As a Foreman / Leading Hand, you'll be at the heart of our operations - ensuring seamless coordination between trades and ensuring our project teams are upheld to the highest standards of quality, accuracy and communication.
This is not a clipboard role – we're looking for a practical leader who knows their way around all facets of construction.
You'll be responsible for supervising and working alongside the team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to our high standards.
Key responsibilities include:
 * Leading and working alongside a team of tradespeople and labourers.
 * Supervising day-to-day site activities.
 * Hands-on construction work (fibro, concrete, gyprock, carpentry, and general building tasks).
 * Coordinating sub-contractors and suppliers.
 * Reading and interpreting plans and ensuring work is carried out to specification.
 * Identifying potential issues and providing practical solutions on-site.
 * Reporting progress and liaising with the Project Manager.
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you are a natural leader who doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves. We're after someone who can keep a site moving, manage a crew and subcontractors, and step in on the tools when needed.
We're looking for:
 * Proven experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand, or similar supervisory role in construction.
 * Broad construction knowledge, particularly with fibro, concrete, and gyprock.
 * Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
 * Solid understanding of WHS requirements.
 * A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
 * Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example.
 * Current driver's licence, reliable transport and a current White Card.
 * Desirable: Trade qualifications in carpentry or related field.
 * Desirable: Experience with luxury residential developments.
 * Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
What We'll Do For You
We're committed to making Strictly Building a great place to work. We offer a competitive salary, a supportive and diverse environment, a team that will support you to strive for success, and a culture that rewards and recognises strong performance and potential. Our benefits include:
 * Attractive package,
 * Employee referral program, and
 * Family culture.
