Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintenance and cleanliness of Operating Theatre, patient's beds, and trolleys; removal of waste, dirty case carts; cleaning of floors and equipment; terminal cleaning of operating theatre at the end of the day.
- Preparing operating theatre by setting up required equipment.
- Safe patient transport and coordination with clinical staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability; adherence to policies and procedures.
- Assist the clinical staff with preparation of deceased bodies and transfer to the morgue.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with clinical staff.
- Physical stamina for hands‐on tasks.
- Availability to work a 7‐day rotating roster, including on‐call shifts and public holidays.
