About The Role
We're seeking a Quality & Compliance Engineer to play a critical technical role across production, maintenance, and technical teams.
This role directly impacts product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance outcomes—driving Right First Time (RFT) performance, minimising waste, and ensuring environmental and regulatory standards are met.
You'll lead key quality and compliance systems, support continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across site.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and maintain Quality & Environmental Management Systems in line with CSR, licensing, and certification requirements
* Drive Right First Time (RFT) performance by reducing variation and improving process capability
* Conduct root cause analysis on quality and environmental issues and embed effective corrective actions
* Deliver reporting on KPIs, audits, and compliance performance
* Partner with production, maintenance, and technical teams on problem-solving initiatives
* Manage chemical compliance programs including ChemAlert, trade waste, and environmental monitoring
* Provide training and support to build capability across quality, environmental, and safety processes
* Contribute to LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives (WCM)
* Support audit readiness and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Requirements
* Experience in a quality or compliance role within manufacturing or heavy industry
* Strong understanding of chemical management, registers, and safety requirements (essential)
* Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or similar)
* Experience working with quality systems (ISO, environmental frameworks, etc.)
* Proven ability to lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
