Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum Certificate III in Community Services or Cert III in Individual Support or other relevant qualifications are highly regarded.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
* Have or are willing to obtain a Disability worker Screening card with a blue card.
* Current driver's license
* Own car and comprehensive car insurance.
* Previous experience in working with people with disability is beneficial
* Previous experience working independently AND within a team is beneficial
Responsabilities
* Provide support to participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
* Understand and provide appropriate care to partisapants with low needs to partisapants with high needs who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviors
* Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
* Work under general guidance from the personnel seeking support, and their family, within clearly defined guidelines
* Be apart of an on-call roster.
* Ensure prompt and clear communication between yourself and office/management staff.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $34.00 – $38.00 per year
