Electrical Engineer Job Description
This is a key role within our Defence division, supporting a significant contract. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of electrical services that meet state and federal regulations.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop guidelines for the Electrical Operating Authority to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Oversee all electrical aspects related to aerodrome maintenance, including inspections, upgrades, and repairs.
* Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate electrical systems with broader infrastructure requirements.
* Manage the operations and shutdown maintenance of high-voltage assets and infrastructure.
* Ensure all electrical systems are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.
* Audit and evaluate electrical systems and infrastructure across various locations, including remote sites.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance and projects teams.
* Prepare detailed reports on the status and condition of electrical systems for senior management review.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Extensive experience as an Electrical Engineer in a similar industry setting.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and infrastructure.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
