About The Role
We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you'll lead and oversee the support, maintenance and operational health of enterprise applications within ART's technology environment.
* Provide hands‐on technical support across applications built on Cobol and Omni Script, including troubleshooting complex production issues.
* Support and maintain integration platforms, ensuring reliable message processing and distributed transaction handling.
* Lead incident management activities, including prioritisation, root cause analysis, escalation and service restoration in line with SLAs.
* Manage and review application changes and releases, ensuring controlled deployment and minimal service disruption.
* Monitor application availability and performance, driving improvements to resilience, reliability and support processes.
* Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues, implement enhancements and uplift support capability.
* Contribute to team leadership through mentoring, documentation, process improvement and a strong customer‐focused mindset.

About You
* Proven experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
* Hands‐on experience supporting integrations, including messaging, orchestration and troubleshooting integration failures.
* Demonstrated experience working with distributed transactions and understanding their impact on system reliability and performance.
* Strong technical problem‐solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and identify root causes quickly and effectively.
* Experience leading or contributing to incident, change and release management processes in structured IT environments.
* Willingness and capability to learn Omni, with a proactive approach to building new platform knowledge.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
* Collaborative, accountable mindset, including mentoring others and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Additional Requirements
This is a Brisbane‐based role, with occasional out‐of‐hours support and on‐call participation as required.
