Best Stairs is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and qualified full-time Carpenter and Joiner to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials to required dimensions.
Install frameworks, doors, windows, partitions, floors, and cabinetry.
Repair or replace damaged woodwork, furniture, or fixtures.
Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
Perform joinery tasks such as fitting hinges, locks, handles, and other hardware.
Ensure precision in fitting and alignment of joints and finished surfaces.
Collaborate with builders, architects, and other trades to complete construction or renovation projects.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following occupational health and safety regulations.
Estimate materials, tools, and time required for assigned tasks.
A remuneration package between $70,000 - $90,000 per year plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
