Retail and Post Office Assistant (Casual)
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team at a busy Post Office, NSW Lotto, and Newsagency outlet. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, energetic, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a friendly team environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a willingness to take on responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cash handling and daily transactions
* Providing excellent customer service
* Clerical and administrative tasks
* Merchandising and stock management
* Ordering products
* Mail processing and handling
* Data entry and computer-based tasks
* Assisting customers with mail regulations, procedures, and form completion
* Promoting and selling various products and services
Previous experience in Australia Post, Lotto, or a newsagency environment will be highly regarded.
Requirements:
* Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
* Ability to pass a police check prior to commencement
