The hospital assists a catchment population of up to 100,000 and provides a number of Acute Services including Emergency, General Medicine and Surgery, Intensive Care, Mental Health and Paediatrics.
The Hospital has a new state of the art Maternity Unit ,it is a Level 1 Teaching Hospital.
Opportunities to pursue private practice is also available.
