About the role In this role, you will ensure efficient booking processes, accurate data management, and positive patient experiences while helping clinicians use their available appointment time effectively. You will play a key role in managing waiting lists in line with Queensland Health policy. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, calm under pressure and prides themselves on delivering exceptional service. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Provide administration support for the daily operational activities of the specialist outpatient department & ambulatory services, including reception duties, patient admissions, accurate referral and data management, and appointment scheduling, in accordance with relevant Queensland Health policies, procedures, and legislative guidelines. * Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Queensland Health Specialist Outpatient Implementation Standards (SOSIS). * Advanced skills in the use of information technology to facilitate the identification of errors and ensure a high level of data accuracy. Systems include QHEPS, Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), Enterprise Scheduling Management (ESM), The Viewer, Smart Referrals Workflow System (SRWS), Q-Flow and Management Information System (MIS).
