Onsite IT Support Specialist
We are seeking an experienced onsite IT support specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and varied role that requires excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide on-site technical support for clients across various technologies including desktops, servers, networks, and data centre technologies
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to firewall administration, network configuration, and desktop/network issues
* Install and upgrade operating systems, install patches, and perform software and hardware break fix tasks
Requirements:
* Proven experience in providing on-site IT support with a focus on firewall administration, network configuration, and desktop/network issues
* Strong knowledge of routing and switching, Wi-Fi basics, and Microsoft Office installation and administration
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Tools and Equipment:
* Fully charged laptop with Windows 8 or 10 operating system and admin rights
* Cisco Console cable (DB9 RJ-45 or USB RJ-45) with drivers installed
* Laptop with Putty, Team Viewer, TFTP server, and screwdriver set
