Dollar Sweets is a proudly 100% Australian family-owned business, established in 1947. With continued growth across both imports and local manufacturing, we are seeking an experienced Packing and Warehouse Coordinator to lead operations at our site in Pakenham.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role oversees two distinct but closely connected functions: warehouse operations (receival, storage, picking and dispatch) and our on-site manufacturing packing facility responsible for packing factory-produced product into retail-ready packaging, in accordance with GMP and food safety standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role managing both the warehouse and packing teams across both functions. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient and accurate delivery of product to customers while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily warehouse operations including receivals, storage, picking, cross-dock and dispatch
* Coordinate factory-based packing operations in line with our production plans
* Plan labour and rosters across day and afternoon shifts to meet production output and shipping windows
* Ensure availability of packing materials, WIP and finished goods flow
* Enforce GMP, food safety, labelling, allergen and quality standards
* Maintain accurate inventory control using ERP and scan-gun technology
* Coordinate local freight, truck bookings and pallet control
* Drive DIFOT performance of 95%+
* Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong inventory management and ERP system capability
* Freight booking and pallet account management experience
