Mental Health Nurse Specialist - Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mental Health Nurse Specialist to take on a leadership role within our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders in children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff on the care and treatment of patients
* Develop and implement evidence-based care plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each patient
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
* Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to promote open communication and collaboration
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field and advanced certification in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) or a related field. You must also have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and a proven track record of providing clinical leadership and expertise in CAMH. Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders in children and adolescents.
