About Inner West Paediatrics

We are an established multidisciplinary practice that offers Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Group programs and Feeding services for children throughout the Inner West area of Sydney, and we are seeking to expand our team.

We are looking for therapists to join our team We have positions available for those who love being a career clinician and for those who would like to take on management/leadership positions. We are open to applications from clinicians with experience as well as new graduates. We have a fantastic new graduate onboarding program which has been running for many years to support early career clinicians transition into their first clinical role.

* 5 weeks annual leave p.a. for a Full-Time employee (pro-rata for Part-Time)
* Ability to work from home with Telehealth and admin blocks if this is preferred by you

Your duties will include:

* Provide centre based assessment and intervention for children 0-18, both one-on-one and group interventions
* Community based services that include preschool visits and school visits
* Telehealth therapy
* Communicate openly and regularly with a child's family and team, e.g. other allied health professionals, teachers/carers
* Complete clinical documentation including progress notes and session summaries, reports and emails
* Provide clinical support, mentoring and coaching
* Opportunity for career progression to include clinical supervision for early career therapists, program design, QI projects and more

About you:

* Bachelor or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Current membership with Occupational Therapy Australia
* Eligibility for Medicare provider status
* Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay and motor skill difficulties is looked upon favourably
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other therapists, parents, teachers and children
* Excellent time management, and ability to work autonomously as part of a multi-disciplinary team, a personal commitment to being a life long learner
* Current drivers licence and use of own car for community appointments
* Current Working with Children's Check and Police Check & NDIS Worker Screener
