Job Description
We are seeking motivated and reliable On-Call Delivery Agents to join our team. The ideal candidates must have a cargo van or a three-ton ute and will be responsible for delivering goods to and from the airport or interstate.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages and goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safe handling and transportation of all items.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Access to a cargo van or a three-ton ute (must be in good working condition).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 kg.
- Must be able to do interstate deliveries.
