About the Role As a Leading Hand Carpenter, you will take responsibility for running residential sites, coordinating trades and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities
* Lead and mentor carpenters and apprentices
* Ensure works are completed to plan, on time and to specification
* Liaise with supervisors, management, trades and suppliers
* Maintain high standards of safety, quality control and site presentation
* Must possess current construction white card
* Problem-solve and manage workflow to keep projects moving
About You
* Qualified Carpenter with strong residential building experience
* Minimum 8-10 years of carpentry experience required
* Must hold a recognised trade qualification in carpentry
* Australian citizenship required
* Previous experience as a Leading Hand or Site Supervisor preferred
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Organised, proactive and reliable
