**Associate Director - Marketing**
This newly created executive position will have accountability to manage centralized decisioning for marketing strategy across channels and products in partnership with the line of business marketers and the owned and paid media channel analytics team. They will also be responsible for audience management for all consumer marketing campaigns.

The Associate Director - Marketing will:
- Create a compelling customer centric vision to align cross line of business marketing teams towards a common goal for our customers (Lifetime Value)
- Develop a robust personalization strategy and roadmap to ignite personalization at scale
- Articulate the concept of centralized decisioning throughout the organization and the value of a customer centric operating model
- Work across a cross functional team of marketing, finance, operations, risk, legal, compliance and others to develop a coherent and effective cross channel plan. Own the creation and development of a unified content marketing calendar and messaging guidelines for lifecycle campaigns
- Orchestrate cross channel journeys ensuring seamless, frictionless experiences
- Own the audience management strategy and identify opportunities to expand and optimize populations for marketing campaigns
- Identify opportunities to leverage marketing technology and data throughout the communications plan. Partner with marketing platform and analytics teams to build capabilities that integrate with our decisioning engines to drive optimal product and servicing messaging that serve the customer and drive business outcomes.
- Adopt a robust test and learn agenda to prove the value and clearly articulate and measure the impact of the teams efforts
- Form a centralized governance forum for decisioning and give the business a mechanism to request changes - both large (new channels, implementation priorities, LOB conflicts, etc.) and small - like a tactical forum to handle day-to-day change requests, new offers, and treatments.
- 8+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Management experience
- At-scale Financial Institution experience strongly desired
- Management consulting, or experience as a business leader tasked to drive value preferred
- Strong understanding of all 3 Consumer LOBs including what drives business value
- Highly analytical, quantitative thinker
- Innovative and always looking to improve everything they touch
- A demonstrated strong working knowledge of various Martech platforms
- Demonstrated ability to drive change while being comfortable with ambiguity; willingness to invest multiple years to a transformation effort
- Proven success recruiting, inspiring, developing, coaching and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement and performance management
- Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, collaborating with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in, and negotiate with a diverse group of business partners/stakeholders including senior management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage effectively in a heavily matrixed organization with a high degree of initiative and strong ability to meet key responsibilities with limited oversight.
- Proven ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders of different levels, including experience presenting to senior executives with the ability to simplify complex information in a clear manner.
