We are seeking Expressions of Interest for Customer Contact Officers to join our team on a casual basis from July to October for our Federal Government client.
**About the Role**
As a Customer Contact Officer, you'll play a vital role in connecting customers both inbound and outbound with the support that they need. Working in a fast moving and ever-changing call centre environment, you will develop valuable skills in problem solving and customer service.
You will work as part of a dynamic team, receiving comprehensive training and support to help you grow and succeed in your role. We are committed to helping our team members reach their full potential.
**About You**
As a Customer Contact Officer with Serco, you will be servicing customer inbound and making outbound calls on behalf of our Federal Government client. Your passion for supporting customers and ability to communicate effectively will assist with resolving enquiries for our customers. To ensure your success you will have:
- Demonstrated experience providing high quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
- the ability to competently navigate computer software platforms/ screens simultaneously
- Listen and communicate effectively, with the ability to explain complex information to customers clearly
- Maintain a calm, resilient composure
- Demonstrate the highest standards of professional conduct and support for others and work collaboratively in a team environment
- An interest in learning new information and embracing feedback on the job.
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (Minimum of Two vaccinations) to ensure the safety and well-being of our people
- Hold Australian Citizenship and able to provide evidence in the form of Australian Birth certificate, Australian Passport, Australian Citizenship Certificate
- Be required to complete pre-employment checks including relevant security clearances, computer competency and cognitive assessments.
