This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the financial health and success of the business while helping to shape the future of financial operations.About the Role: As a Management Accountant at Henne, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial processes and providing essential insights to support decision-making across the business. You will work across multiple areas of accounting, including accounts payable, general ledger management, financial reporting, and budgeting. Your responsibilities will blend both transactional accounting and strategic financial analysis.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments, maintaining positive vendor relationships and resolving any discrepancies.General Ledger Management: Assist with month-end and year-end closings, prepare journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet accounts for accuracy.Reporting & Analysis: Generate monthly/quarterly financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with annual budgets, update financial forecasts, and build financial models to project outcomes and assess risks.Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows, optimise working capital, and forecast liquidity needs to ensure financial stability.System Improvements: Identify inefficiencies in financial systems, propose process improvements, and collaborate on task transitions.KPI Tracking: Develop and track financial KPIs, providing insights to align business performance with corporate goals.Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with departments like merchandising and marketing, supporting senior management with relevant financial data for decision-making.Key Skills & Experience:Experience with Xero and Dext (ideal but not essential).Familiarity with SIN7 (inventory management software) is a plus but not essential.Strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, scenario analysis, and advanced reporting.Management accounting experience, particularly in general ledger management, accounts payable, and receivables.Understanding of cash flow management and liquidity forecasting.Proven ability to conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast), with actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a growing, fast-paced environment.If interested please click APPLY NOW or email Megand@sde.com.auSix Degrees Executive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
