Job Overview
The CNC Machinist is responsible for delivering high-quality precision components using the latest industrial technology and equipment.
This involves complex CAM programming, setup, and safe operation of CNC machines as well as mould/tool/equipment manufacturing, machining, finishing, assembly, and testing.
Key Responsibilities
* CAM programming, creating strategies, and operating CNC machines to produce precise components.
* Mould manufacturing, machining, and assembly of precision tools and equipment.
* Collaborating with project teams to define performance specifications and functional requirements.
* Maintaining documentation and records of tasks and activities.
* FOLLOWING established processes and work instructions to ensure safety, quality, and consistency.
* Using troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
* Analyzing risks and developing strategies to minimize them throughout project lifecycles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* At least 5 years' experience creating complex CAM programs for mould tooling.
* At least 5 years' CNC machining experience.
* Broad understanding of CNC machining principles and cutter technologies.
* Experience working with plastics injection moulding.
Preferred Qualifications
* Qualifications in CNC programming, Toolmaking, Machining, or Engineering.
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a Toolmaking environment with relevant CNC programming experience.
